virtualdub audio problems

    I split a avi file in 2 pieces, but now my sound is not synchrone any more...
    Does anybody knows how that comes???

    Normally this is due two facts, either of them can cause it alone:

    -you didn't cut the AVI using its keyframes
    -you had VBR MP3 audio with the track
