click on the channel editor.top left corner press open pick the channel dump you want to use.then rearrange you channels.press save and load it to your box

 

got the channel thing goin talks lads just one ,
more the sky movies drama is bad and tried to manul ture it but it is still bad have anyone ideas

 

manual scan , then hit 'download freq'
this will get channel back
just delete the old one when this is done !

 

and what do u do when channel is found do u exit and go to that channel

ya do it is finding 20 channels what do i do then do i exit when i do this it goes back to first channel

 

Check down the bottom of your channel list you will find a duplicate of the movie channel you were looking for this will be the correct one. Delete the bad movie channel and any other duplicates you may now have.

 

did scouser and the channel is still the same will i just keep doin it till a good channel comes in

Hi guys,
Anybody know what to do if my starview remote control is f****d, I only got my box about two weeks ago and now the remote won't work, and its not the batteries

Call the company who supplied your box, and tell them you want a replacement.
I know you said it's not the batteries, but here's a little trick you can try, I can't remember who posted this originally, so apologies to them. Turn your mobile phone to camera mode, if you have one that has a camera, point your remote at the camera lens, and you should see the infra-red LED blinking on your phone screen.
If there is nothing, then the remote is dead, assuming new batteries. If you see the blinking, then the problem is on the main box.

 

Thats harsh, I'll have to wait weeks for it, am I not entitled to another one from starview under the warranty?? Also I might be better off getting one of those all in one remotes, do they work with the starview box?

Great shout Eamo, I did that the infra red thing is working so its not the remote I guess, what else could it be? The box is working ok manually, I can change channels up and down!!

 

Try to give the front of the box a wipe, a general bit of a clean over the plastic area. Silly question, but have you tried the remote very close to the box?
I can't take credit for the phone idea, as I said, someone else posted it, but I can't remember who.

 

Still, credit due nevertheless, atleast I know now its not the remote!!I'll try give it a good clean, I tried with the remote right up beside it as well!!

 

No joy, I don't know what the problem is, I just can't use the remote at all

 

The first thing I would do is call the supplier, see will he replace it. If not you may as well
open the box, 3 screws on the back if I remember rightly, and see if any connections have come loose.
