virus for starview on the way 4m ntl

    hello all,
    just a quick word of thanks to all those who post the info / answers on this site - yer diong a mighty job !!

    anyway some useless info for ye - i recently bought a starview 2 the box - i also have starview clone and to tell you the truth there does not seem to be any difference at all between the 2 in terms of picture quality, menus or anything else basically.

    having said that there both great in terms of what they can do.

    that certainly explains that !!

    one other thing i noticed is that the rs type cables supplied with each box will only work on the box that they originally came with – if i use the starview clone supplied cable on the starview box or vice versa they wont work. I found this out my mistake trying to flash the clone box with updated software.

    anyway, again many thanks for your answers and info - excellant site !!

    if you have a genuine null modem cable they will work on both boxes as i have the one for the starview and it does thebox as well
