I am pretty sure others have asked this, but i can't find anything else, so i am asking here.
I want to install vista on a spare external usb hard drive that i have (MyBook 160GB). I go to bios, and i set the external to the number one priority boot device through usb. But when i go to install vista on that drive, the setup says that it cannot install windows on a drive connected through USB or IEEE 1394. Is there any way of getting around this?
