    I apologize I got didn't do it correctly, I forgot a step.... so I am going to delete everything and start again I will post in a bit what I get....

    Okey-dokey.
    I assume that you want and now have an 'NTSC' DVD.
    If you look at the B&W DVD's with GSpot, are they also 'NTSC'?
    If they are, then Nero is having a problem with burns (speed too high)?
    If the bad disks are showing as 'PAL' in GSpot then Nero is set to output 'PAL' instead of 'NTSC'.

    I so appreciate your help it was nero (they were NTSC) I had a much older version the new one you said to use is perfect and free! All the movies that were in B&W are now in color and no sound issues!
