I would use DVD Rebuilder to make a back up of the entire disc with Menus and special features and probably not alot of noticable quality loss. I've used it for all my Sopranos, Deadwood and other seasonal (episodic) discs.

    Here is the F.A.Q. : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/241700
Here is a startup guide: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=54897

There are pay encoders and freeware encoders, HC encoder should do just fine and it's free. Use the installer as indicated in the setup guide, rip your episodic disc to your HDD and then import into DVDRB and let it do it's thing.

Another choice is DVDFAB PLATINUM 4.0.2.0 Beta. 30 Day free trial. Easy to use, step by step, tutorials.

For TV Episodic DVD's. I use Full Disc Mode with a DL DVD. If you want episodes only. DVDFAB PLATINUM has the mode you need for the task. Just check out the tutorials.
