Want to restore your Microsoft Dashboard to it's Retail State? Read Inside.

i have no dashbord and i want it back pleaseeee help i cant find a good tut that works
ive burned a iso to a cdrw like fivehundrededed time and none of them work
i can load a game if that helps
but none off the iso cds work please help

 

Can you boot up backups? I'm guessing you have a softmod? Are the save game files still on the Xbox? If so, you can just launch the game using the game to trigger the softmod exploit and re-install it.

no the saved game is corupt it ssays can not run linux i have made so many back ups but they dont work i dont know if im making them wrong or if its the xbox
i was thinking about formating the hdd with hddm but that dont work either i got a new hd and made it with it but it didnt lock

I downloaded the Ms dash and FTPd it to my xbox
in UnleashX, i go to Ms dashboard and it comes up
But when i try to install the basic install it says no standard
MS 5960 dashboard wat do i do?

1. I am banned
2. Dualboot?
3. My MS dash works perfect and when i go to system info it says D:01.5960.01 or watever (it it 5960) and when i do troubleshooter it says cables connected but on the next step it fails and says there is no connection to a modem or router
4. It is a minimum install if that helps and when i try to basic install it says no standard MS 5960 dash found but i know i have it
5. This is all screwed up!

 

1. Can't unban yourself. If you want to play on live again, you need to buy a new Xbox.
2. Nevermind.
3. FTP the dash back over.
4. Get the latest slayers Autoinstaller and make sure you follow the guide I link too - DUAL BOOT.

all right all i want to do is make a new account on my xbox using the MS dash I ALRDY HAVE THE DASH! I do troubleshooter and it doesnt work.

I want to do a basic install of Krayzie Ndure Installer which requires a MS dash, I have the dash but the installer says no MS dash 5960 found but i know i have it cuz in UnleashX it works.

 

You can't unban your Xbox. Your Xbox is banned from Live, meaning no account will ;e able to sign on, and you cannot make a new account. In order to play live again, you'll need a new Xbox.

DOG! That doesn't make since cuz my friend on live mods and if i want moddin up he'll jus go and make an account and we'll play on it.

 

Depends on how you get banned. If you use mods, then you'll be banned from matchmaking permanently.

If you sign on with a modchip/softmod, then your Xbox is perm. banned from Xbox Live.

If you are dual booting and have both dashboards, then no, you won't.

Dual boot :

Starting up the Xbox by pressing Eject = Microsoft Dashboard
Starting up the Xbox by pressing Power = Modded Dashboard.

all new maps modded and with Krayzie Extras i can make new accnts and accnt recovery

I used it in XBL last night and its pretty cool.

My point is that i can make new accnts.

Hi I need help with my xbox, I am getting error 21 your xbox needs service. So I dont get neither evox nor MS dash.

what happened is that I was trying to install a softmod with the 007 and SID 3.1 and something went wrong I have a back up of my eeprom that I made with the installer and I can still run original games, so I can still run the installer and I can access via FTP I tried downloading the MS from a link on another thread and ftp it into my xbox C drive but I still get error 21, Is there a way to get the xbox back to the original state, so I can softmod it again? I dont have a back up of the C or E drive jkust a back up of the eeprom

what I think might be causing the problem is the failed install of the softmod in my C drive I have some files like the bert and ernie files on the font folder and evoxdahs . Can I delete everything on C drive and ftp the roiginal files or can i run another autoinstaler and get it fixed automaticaly

if someone with more experience could help me I would apreciate it thanks!

 

hey man i had the same prob u have
jus get the krayzie ndure installer and go to your current installer and there should be a way to go to a version of UnleashX
in unleashx, go to game saves and copy the krayzie exploit and delete your current exploit(s) with this u should get the installer to work
since you sed u didnt have the msdash you should do a minimum install and when u install get the update pack (1.1.1) and with that you overwrite the .xml or whatever (where u d/l it should tell u how) and FTP the update pack to your E:\Apps reboot and launch
update your installer and when done go to launch extras then add msdash functions. this should work (the password to everything in the extras in AYBX)
