I just backed up a copy of Warcraft 3 by using Nero it burnt fine, though when I try and run the game it asks me to verify that the disc is in the drive? Could someone please help. Before I backed it up I ran A-Ray scanner and it came up with nothing so I assumed it would be ok to simply back it up.

How many discs does the games come with? Did you scan all the discs?

@Neph, lol, A-Ray confused me so I use ClonyXXL because that is what i am used too. It is getting out of date though. lol, maybe I should start using A-Ray.

(but i have a-ray scanner just in case).
but i havent had to use it yet.
It worked for doom3,farcry,silenthill4 and bloodlines vampire redemption.

An Oldie but still a Goodie.

I used A-Ray scanner for NFSU2 and it indicated the 2nd disc was safedisc 2/3. When I ran a scan on Warcraft 3 it came up with nothing. When Nero was burning it indicated the Warcraft 3 disc was copyrighted. So what datatype would I select in Alcohol 120%? "General Protected CD" maybe?

The Warcraft series use SecuROM from 4.68 to 4.84 so you're going to need a good 2 sheep burner to make a working copy :)
