hello... i'm pretty sure i'm fighting a losing battle trying to watch uploaded tv episodes (.avi files) on my oldish imac. (i'm running OSX 10.2.8) here's what i've tried: upgraded to quicktime pro downloaded vlc player but with no luck. video is still choppy. but the crazy thing is, last night after trying everything....then doing nothing....it worked. i tried it again this morning, and it was choppy again. i restarted....still nothing. i downloaded more episodes of six feet under...tried them...but still no luck. am i wasting my time here with this old mac???? thanks for your help. nuthatch
first off.. your mac aint that old. i work at macmall.. i got ppl calling me with performas.. quicktime sounds like the way to go.. but here's some requirements i picked up on the apple site.
