tongs, you know my viewpoint. i never was a fan of kv and i said it it in very clear terms at the start. however, take that aside, e45 has supplied quality support to this forum. if users want to use kv then e45 has been there for them. however what this situation has pointed out is simply my initial reservation, kv is a gangster operation. they are simply evading the inevitable and their users who are connected to these massive servers are doing likewise. so thats my viewpoint. outside that e45 has done a huge job to help any users who want to be involved in this and does not deserve any part of the criticism imparted on him by members. these users know what they do and the consequences associated.

 

It was always there like you said from day one, but for someone still going about pointless things it winds me up. Like I say mate you were right but the games not over yet hopefully will go on again. Sorry for the moan as this is hard work on our lasses I pad coz I'm formatting my tower. tongs, we sit here to advise people on what they are getting involved in. If they decide that they know better then they know better. it is their choice. even if kv comes back up again, users would have to be delusional to connect. The warning has been given. The chase is on. If the servers get discovered so do all users via their ip address. And the fact that the servers switched off says that the chase is close to an end.

 

ON the money fint, they asked for advise, they were given it by e45, myself and others, based on what was the best option at the time of asking, we gave an honest opinion and based it on another box at the time, which lets face it, has stumbled about like a lame deer from day one,

now, it goes slightly titties to the sky and they come on blaming someone who gave an honest opinion on which box to go for, they go out and buy it, flash it with firmware, view chans without consent and then, blame the guy who gave em the opinion???

Am I missing anything here??????

Much the same as anyone asking yourself on which is the best option for Sat, you offer your opinion based on your best knowledge and what is the best out there on the day, they buy it and blame you on it not working or not doing what is supposed to do

They choose what to do with this advise, no one forces them to take it, its an opinion, if they dont know the risks in the cable game and also the Sat game, then they need to get a sub from their chosen provider and be done with it

 

too true mickah. its astounding the level of abuse that has been directed at members when the reality is that these users are willing to connect to a server that is run by people of dubious nature just to save money. since i pay for a sizeable tv subscription i hold no pity for any of these folk. i have no need, wish or desire to connect to such gangsters

 

The same abusers who are happy to gleam the info to save their own skins

just have to say have been seekin and recieving advice from you guys for a little while now and have always had good honest advice,i cannot understand these people that have been abusing you guys like its all your fault.......bizare. we all new exactly what we were doing when we started this and exactly what could happen if it all went wrong....
so to those abusers get a life leave the guys alone and get a sub if you dont like it.these forums are now ten years old,to me that means that these guys no what there doing the advice they give is sound,through there own knowledge and hard work if you dont want to take their advice dont ask for it.

Can't believe peeps are giving e45 a hard time over this when he's been nothing but helpful to all who ask.
I couldn't have got my box set up if it we weren't for the support from this forum- and I'm sure that goes for many.
