What am i doing wrong with my hitachi drive?

    okay...here's what keeps happening...

    I am able to successfully put my drive into mode b using slax....as soon as i hit the eject button and see that i goes into mode b...i go to reboot....BUT THE DRIVE WON'T STAY SHUT!?!? I'm at my wits end here...

    if i continue to boot up and everything...my computer recognizes the hitachi drive and everything...and when i go to put the unlock79 disc in it...it will read it for a split second...long enough to show the disc...and then eject open. I keeps ejecting everytime you close it...whether or not there is a disc in it.

    Any Ideas?
