What am i missing?

    I know this problem has been posted before but im yet to find a clear answer.After iv converted my AVI file to the .m2v and .mp2 files using tempgenc my audio files dont work.Iv tried going into enviromental settings and changing the priority of directshow to 2 but still the audio wont play.I must have been through the process 4 or 5 times incase i missed something in the guides but keep getting same result.Please help.

    have you done this before and it worked? it could be this certain file?

    have you tried just useing a template, to get just one file out with both in?

    try dvd santa to get to vobs...

    thanks for reply,iv tried with couple differnet files with same result so its not a bad file. Il give the template a go...but i wont be able to put that on dvdr will i?
    dvd santa iv not looked at yet - what do i do with a vob file exactly?

    hi

    use tmpgenc plus to convet to mpeg2 then use tmpgenc dvd author to make the mpeg2 to vob/bup/ifo and it wil ask to burn it to!

    nero vision express will do the lot!

    DivxTODvd will do the lot too

    hehe i like the massive lines, iv got that bit figured out,but the audio file doenst work when its still in .mp2 format and when iv athoured the dvd...im running a template at the moment so if i can get one mpeg with video and audio working.

    im getting close to tears now,ran a template and get a mpeg with video and audio as suggested but the audio still isnt working. Could it be that its working and i need to install something to hear it? All thte dvds on the HDD work fine.Im really stuck any help would be appreciated.

    try loading FFDSHOW codec pack! i have it and no probs here even for mpeg4 video / audio
