What are some progressive scan DVD players that PlaysDVD-R

    I am very interested in buying a progressive scan DVD Player. I was hoping if someone has bought one or knows something about Progressive scans that plays DVD-Rs. I would appreciate anyone's feedback.

    Hi, both the Pioneer DVD565 (only Pro-scan US) and the Marantz DV4200 play DVD-R

     I just recently purchased a LITEON LVW5005 which is a progressive scan DVD player/recorder that will play vitrually anything round that will fit in it. As a bonus, it will record video on DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW and even SVCD and VCD on CD-R, CD-RW discs. You can find it for less than $250 including U.S. delivery from several internet venders.
