    What are the effects of deleting flies (3 or 4 GB) to your computer? Thank you.

    @Chemmn,

    I'm with borhan here....uh, ya kinda need to be a bit more specific. While deleting junk files frees up space (as Auslander posted), deleting 4GB's of your system files wouldn't be a great idea.

    Well if your just deleting that you should have no effect other than making more room on your hard drive and making your processing speed faster.

    Get one of those apps that finds duplicate files and set it lose. Always good for a laugh ;-)

    It seems like the Ccleaner has made my internet speed slower or can it be something else. Before I install the Ccleaner, my internet was a lot faster. Can it be Ccleaner or something else???

    I also found that my computer actually have a disk clean up in the hard drive along with defragment. Which one is better? Ccleaner or the computer disk cleaner.

    Thank you.

    All the applications are the same. They do the same thing. But Ccleaner and Easy Cleaner are software suites that have an easy user interface for users to use and clean their hard disks. They should not cause your computer to slow down unless u have a lot of files that are not needed and are taking up space. If thats the case run the programs and clear all the unwanted files and it should speed up your pc.

    Just thinking poss reason for slowdown.. ??? ccleaner should not slow a computer down unless.. (just a though here) you have a slowish conenction and you are accessing sites that need large bandwith, because ccleaner has cleared the temp internet files/cache you will be redownloading them again into your system cache before your computer reaches the speed again.

    You could always run a defrag now you have cleared up space on your hard drive which may improve performance.
