    Lol, the iPod, or any portable mp3 player, is not something you purchase to play through an amplifier. It's so you can play convenient music on the move and carry as many songs as you want.

    Not at all. I know mp3 isn't the best format by any stretch.

    I say, each to their own way. It's nice to see you still appreciate fine quality music, as I do too just not to the same extremities. You enjoy your records, and I'll enjoy my iPoods :)

    I had the same thing happen this last winter. I was going into a small store and saw a cd case laying beside a car. I took it into the store and almost immediately a woman said, "that's mine." I pointed to the car I found it by and she opened it. I had at least a 100 cd's in it. Man, I worry about leaving spare change in my cars console, much less something that is worth that much.

    @codydog

    The cds were originals? Do people actually carry originals in the car? I've about 200 in my car, but they are copies. They can be replaced albeit timely to do.

    They were originals. I didn't look too hard, but it looked like she had a portable cd player in there too. Everyone places value differently.

    Agreed. You know your right is a great song by a true artist. Much better than the standards of music today, where music has no thought and no feeling put into it.

    Genesis - Firth of a fifth.
