7thsinger, I'm an oldie. I started playing double kicks in the 70's. My first kit was a Ludwig natural maple finish kit called the octa-plus. Eight rides, two floors. double kicks and cymbals everywhere. Those were the days. Listening to Ozzy, Blizzard of Oz. BTW: My fave drummer is a guy called Tommy Aldridge.
