Is Chinese Democracy any cop ?.. Laurel and Hardy - Lonesome Pine, from Way Out West (1937) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ikiny_d5FY
Pathetic considering Axl claims to have been working on it for the past decade. Yngwie Malmsteen - DeJA vU
Steely Dan Aja http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocfR3CIPFJo&feature=related Dan-Reelin In The Years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyaYXwoXpeM&feature=related THE ROYAL SCAM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItaV7xINnec
Steely Dan is genius they never sounded like anybody nor did any band sound like them, such great stuff!
David & David (from their 1986 Boomtown album) "All Alone In The Big City" This is their one and only album.....highly recommended! Couldn't find anything on youtube. http://www.amazon.com/Boomtown-David/dp/B000002GH9
Big Beatles fan here from the 60s-70s and beyond, even their solo stuff....... and get this....... my son, who is 26yrs old, just found out his significant other (he lives with her - she's a beatuiful nurse) loves the Beatles...... and you know who he called ...... just to laugh about it.
Listening Chinese Democracy. I dont think its all that bad. Could be better considering he has been working on it forever, but it was never going to complete with the old school gunners...
EDIT: The entire album can be heard here ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYuk_hO6AVY&feature=iv&annotation_id=event_632101 ....on Chinese Democracy. If you play this expecting Appetite for Destruction or Use Your Illusion you will be disappointed. True, the old band isn't there, but buckethead brings his own style to the table which I like and the songwriting is definately that of Axl. I say it's worth a listen...take it or leave it, it's growing on me. Big Sugar ~ Sugar in my Coffee. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlPFeNRp7OQ
Listening to Take This Life -- In Flames Just went and saw these guys on Dec. 6th at the Worcester Palladium... Awesome show, In Flames really is in it for the love of music not the money... When he tells you to own a copy of his cd whether you buy or download it just as long as you own it, that's pretty freaking sweet... Got to meet a few of the bands too, hung out with the band that opened for like 40 minutes.
