Did you hear about the lawsuit from satch vs. coldplay ^ ?

It's a blatant copy. Check youtube if you haven't already heard it.

    Genesis - Firth of Fifth.

Oh yeah, i heard about and it's a blatant rip from Satch. How they thought no one would notice -- especially a musician of Satch's ability -- is beyond me.

Yeah, he is a pretty arrogant, pretentious guy as you say, and he has lost a lot of the style he once had over the years, I think he is kinda trying to compete with other guitarists. Back in the 80s-90s it was all about him, but now so many virtuoso guitarists have come into the picture it seems like is kinda in a race with him. He does mention in number of his videos "Some people copy exactly what I do, but it's no big deal, it happens" which isn't exactly true, the musical structure of it is different but I suppose it is similar to extent to a lot of other mainstream guitarists.

A really annoying ringing in my head from the Shadows Fall show last night... Its really only in the right side of my head... Well worth it considering I was right against the stage the whole night...

No fear, the album was in very high demand, a run of 5000 from what i remember (ok i'd forgotten, i googled!). Mine was ripped by a friend (of a friend of a friend probably, what with only a measly 5000 produced).

Staind - Reply from the album Chapter V
