I got to see Muddy Waters at the Cellar Door in Georgetown-Washington, D.C.
back in the old days. I was thrilled to sit 15 feet from the stage for this flawless
performance. I'll remember that night among 140 people (small club) 'til the day I
move on to the afterlife. Also, I was allowed to shake his hand and thank him for
the great night (sent him up his favorite drink too).

* I was very sad when I heard he died on April 30, 1983 at age 70.
Muddy Waters was ranked #11 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the
100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
