Heres the specs for my new HTPC running windows media edition oem, -3.4ghz processor -2gig of DDR2 -dual Hauppauge PVR-250MCE -dual geforce 6600gt cards -500g hard drive -dvd-rw dl drive -sound blaster auidgy ZS platinum sound card All i'm missing is a motherbboard and a case, thats where I need some help I want a motherboard that can handle these components and I also am looking for a case that will slide in with my other HT equipment. Please give me some feedback on the components and tell me if what you would do differently. This device is for gaming and recording tv. Also as a my primary dvd player and i will be using some logitech ZD5450D speakers as my surround sound set up.
what socket type is your processor? also your not going to get that rig into a very small case, you may find it will be less like sliding in and more like stacking everything else on top
