what discs?

    i have been wondering what discs the ps2 and xbox need to be played as a burnt dvd? what is best for them dvd+r or dvd-r? i used nero and dvd decrypter to burn a dvd and would a svcd work on them? but nero and dvd decrypter didnt work but then i was using dvd+rw so not sure anyone can help please? Thanx

    I use verbatim or taiyos dvd-r at a speed of 4X and have no problems
    I cant tell you if ps2 supports svcd
