what do i do with these files?

Hi all, i am 100% new to this, i recently downloaded a movie in Xvid format i believe, theres no sound so far when i play either avi files...and i have the following files and don't know what step to take next.

.avi1 (movie is split in 2)
.avi2

.sub1
.sub2

.idx1
.idx2

can someone please tell me what to do from here on, i would like to burn this to dvd-r...and would i need 2 cd's or can i join them somehow to make the movie whole again?

 

I'm pretty new at this too, but I do know that VirtualDub may belp you put the files together.

 

ok, you need the ac3 audio codec installed, you can get it from many places, use google.
