What do i need????

    Hello i'm very new at this.

    I have a iMac g4.
    I want to take cirtian sceens out of DVDs you buy in stores and DVDs i make w/ iDVD out of a DVD. What do i need to do this?
    I just d/l DVDBackup 1.3...im not exacly sure what to do w/ it...is that what i need...do i need more?

    Basicly i want to back up all my vhs onto dvd so i can easily access them when i do video editing instead of having to go find it on my vhs then go thru the process of digitizing it.

    Whats the difference between DVD Ripping, Encoding, Decrypting? thanks

    dvd20nex should takes the the sceens out. puting
    vhs on dvd is a long process. you can capture the
    video with imovie then encode it into mpeg 2 with
    quicktime pro, then burn it with dvd studio pro 2 or
    toast
