What does it mean when I capture from my mini dv camcorder and it says x number of frames dropped?

Is there a link to a guide on how to capture video from camcorder, settings for best qulaity and how to burn it to DVD?

I use Roxio EZ CD Creator and I've got a firewire connection on my PC.

    Thanks...RN

What it means when it says dropped frames is exactly that, you dropped frames while Captureing...

It means that certain Frames are now Missing usually because your system or certain compontents in your System aren"t fast enough to capture all of the Frames in Real time....

To aviod dropped Frames you should allways capture to a seperate hard drive than the drive that windows and your software are installed on...This drive should also be kept defragmented....
