What (free) Software to use to Clip AVI Video Files?

    Sorry that this may sound obvious. I have Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.0 Basic installed, but I just cannot figure out how to clip my AVI Video files to get the part I want.

    I downloaded DVtool v0.53, but it does not give me previous when doing clipping, so I do not know where I am.

    If anybody knows a better resource please post. Thanks a ton to both your guys and afterdawn!
