I checked the glossary but it wasn't there. When i ISO READ with DVD Decrypter, it gives me an ISO and MDS file. The ISO file is a huge file (the size of the movie), and the MDS file is only about 5kb? What are these? Thanx!
mds is a sort of text file that holds the structure of the ripped dvd so it knows how to burn it etc. although i dont use it! but for dvd9 rip/burn you need it for the layer break info!
So when I burn it, and Click on the MDS instead of ISO, will it still burn the movie? If so, how is this since it is only 5kb? Thanx! Learning everyday from you pros!
Yes, if you pick the MDS file it will burn the movie. Think of it like directions so your computer knows where to get the files.
can you tell me what program you used to burn the mds file? i used nero and it says invalid image and invalid path
