you only get what comes down the pipe. basically each box does the same thing, except the EPG is better on some, such as Eurovox etc.

i would go for eurovox personally, its easy to use, got a nice epg and you don't have to f**k about putting codes in as it updates them automaticly.

if you wanna see what channels you get on the eurovox and what the basic epg is like check this vid

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fNwQ8h1R5t4&rel=0&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&border=0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fNwQ8h1R5t4&rel=0&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&border=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I have Eurovox max v3 2006 but updated with 2007 software and have never had any trouble so i would highly recommend this and also know about 9 people who have the 2007 box without any trouble.

he might as well get the 2008 version as its new and not likely to have been cloned yet, its the one i use and i have never had any major problems with it. it would piss me off if i had to put in codes all the time which is what you have to do with these other brand boxes

All starviews autoupdate if people could be arsed to update their machines with the correct firmware, the Arnet updates also. So thats a bit of a moot point to your recommendation of box's

Have read messages which make me wary as it looks as if some eurov s only pick up certain channels. are the 2008 ones the biz.

certain channels??? where i live i get all the channels i can possibly get from my cable provider. you wont be able to get any more chanels than your cable provider can possibly give you all these boxes do is descramble the chanels you do not subscribe to.

it all depends on the area you live in and what signal stregnth you got which defines how many channels you get. if you get the 2008 eurovox with the kouro update installed you get a built in signal booster if you live in a low signal area so yeah the eurovox is best imo.

in the video i posted i didn't go through all the channels as i could only fit 8.20 on the video so its not showing how many channels you get all together.
