    Could someone please tell me what BgMonitor_{79662E04-7C6C-4d9f-84C7-88D8A56B10AA} is and if its essential? because I denied it from running each start up. Will this affect anything? Just tired of 60 programs feeling the need to start-up ... please help any feedback will be appreciated. I tried to look it up but all i can find is its related to nero... well no shit

    It's for Nero Home and can be safely shut down.

    is that how many you have running.You can look at the properties of most and disable them so that they only run when you click on them , and not when you restart your pc

    Thanks, I greatly appreciate it.... and as far as actually having 60 nah' th@ was a lil exaggeration... It just seems that all the software makers out there feel the need to add there software to the start menu...

    You are usually given to options when installing software to enable starting when windows starts.
