    Hello everyone
    In the burning setting of convertxtodvd it has the option of "Prefer SAO burning mode for DVD-R". I have looked on various guides and tutorials and have not been able to locate what this means. Does anyone know? How does selecting/deselecting this option benefit?

    SAO = Session At Once.
    DAO = Disc At Once.
    TAO = Track At Once.

    Hi there,

    The reason why VSO added this feature, is some users had issues burning in "Session At Once" mode.

    So they let you choose to burn in SAO mode or if you turn this off, it will burn in "Packet Writting Mode" which will let users burn, that had issues with SAO mode !

    Just an other enhancement to be more compatible with everyone's burner :)

    celtic_d, if I use Memorex (Media ID: CMC Mag.) am I burning in CAO mode ?

    CAO = Coaster At Once :)
