Do a search for say "dvd burner under $100" and you will find what your chasing. Any burner will copy ps2 games, Although depending on age of ps2 you may need -r discs so at the minimum go for a 4x dual media (+-RW) burner.
Also download dvd decrypter (easiest way to back up ps2 dvd's)

i got an LG DVD dual media burner. go to ebuyer.com and look there, they've got some fantastic burners at crazy prices. The LG I got burns +/- and RAM disks. Get DVD Decrypter, or Nero for copying the games.
I'd also suggest DataWrite yellow top disks for copying on to as they are specially designed for console backing up, so they are the best for ur PS2 laser. Of course any DVD will work, but these are by far the bast and dont cost a thing.
