What is the best media to use for Gamecube Backups !!

Hi, i'm about to make a couple of backups and played them on my modded gamecube. I've heard of ritek g04 mini DVD-R discs and i was wondering if you can use other discs than this because i can't get hold of these discs. Can you use these discs Memorex DVD-RW/1.4GB Pocket Professional 4xspeed - 8CM or how about these Memorex DVD-R/1.4GB 8cm 4xspeed.

 

Iv used Memorex mini-DVDs from walmart and a few diffrent kinds. Most seem to work ok but I modded my top to fit full sized DVDs. Alot cheaper. All you can do is try a brand if they work then stick with them if they dont then try other brands till you find some that work. Or you can try modding your top with a full size bay cost me around 20 bucks to mod mine.

 

Dont even bother with Sony, Maxell, or Memorex DVD-Rs. Ritek (ridata) all the way! No DREs yet!
