What is the strange noise one gets on Dboxes and Starviews?

No problem , I dont know everything about Starvi*w but I do try

hey,i went away for 2 weeks [20th july till 4th] and when i came back my starview was not working,is there more new codes i should be aware of? and also before i could only get 36 channels how can this be resolved? thank you in advanced,Gunzeh

i have plugged my null modem in and when i try to download my firmware from emo the windows computer says it doesnt reconise the file so i cant open it also can u tell me that when i bought the the box should i have gotten a cd software with it : cause i dont see any red arrow which is suppose to be the loading software help
