What is this part?

    I have never seen it before, never heard of it, and it has only one marking on it.

    First is a four-pin connector, like for a CD Audio plug from ROM to MOBO.

    Second is two wires, one red and one black, both about an inch.

    It then ends in a cylindrical...thing. This thing does not push, click, turn, anything. It has a hole in the middle on the top, and when you look into it, you see a brass color metal. There is a circle with a positive sign inside it next to the hole in the top. I believe this part came with the case, and the case is an AeroEngine II.

    Any insight would be much appreciated, especially since, 3 days after I bought it from newegg.com, they took it off the website. Has me worried.

    its an asus m2n-e sli motherboard. which area do i plug this in at?
