hi i just bought a samsung a645 and i want to know what is unlocking and am i able to do it with my phone? also when i go to my grandma's the phone is constantly beeping sasying "changing sevice area"on the telus site it says that i have full 1X coverage in the area but when i check the phone (oin no order) one munute i have 3 bars of 1X the next i have no signal then i have a couple bars of analog then i have 2-3 bars on roaming (almost garunteed from bell).... so anyways i was wondering if this is telus or the phone that causes it to constantly switch? any help would be greatly appreciated
ok unlocking here is an example. lets say i were to buy a cell phone from at&t and i wanted to have it work with sprint.so i am going to have to put a code into the phone to have it work with the sprint network. hope it helps
