yes i could. Halloween and Halloween II. they are the two best movies ever made in the horror genre. they created the bad guy boogieman that just wouldn't die and didn't even have to use real gore to inspire fear. they were that good.
meh..saw is just an attempt at new, darker levels of gore. i don't see it as revolutionary or extraordinary in any sense.
Darker levels of gore? Try Cannibal Halocaust. It was banned everywhere when it came out in the early 80's if I remember right. Now easily rented from Netflix or the like.
