Hey Auslander my condolences to your pet loss. DO you mind telling how it happened. I jsut lost another pet bout a month ago. My dog Jakie wasnt feeling good and just would sit their barking softly at the air...at nothing. Then wouldnt move from one spot...Then went to sleep and that was it....:> God bless you I know how you feel....
Auslander, I just saw your sig. Sorry about losing your dog. I am an animal lover, and pets truly become part of the family, and the loss of them is a very sad thing.
yes, but i believe with all my heart that i'll see her again one day. i firmly believe she's still here, as i swear i've heard her. doors have been popping open (something she loves to do) and her food dish has been banged around when the room was empty. i don't believe she's upset with us, but i do think she's letting us know she's still guarding the house not a day goes by that i'm not grateful for god creating such good friends as sweet, loyal dogs.
Its tough loosing a dog, its always hard the first few months afterwards....I feel for you Auslander What type of dog was she? It looks like she had some siberian husky in her.
she was a purebred german shepherd...purebreeding being teh source of many of her health problems, i'm sure, due to inbreeding. it's nothing but 3/4 mixes from now on
I saw this post a few times the past few years. It has always moved me. I read it when I lost one of my pets, a little over a year ago. Only those of us who love animals can understand this....very well known but has to be brought out every once in a while...... [bold]Rainbow Bridge[/bold] Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing…they miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You….have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face…your hands caress the beloved head and you look once again into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. It is then…that you cross the Rainbow Bridge together……
Seconded. I'll only consider Vista when the bugs have been worked out, and when it's been fully cracked. Why should I pay to have the privilege to pay more? On a more light-hearted note, that's an awesome looking dog there auslander, really sorry it's gone... I know how hard that is.
thank you. really, the one who's taking it hardest is Tessa, our chow/shepherd mix that was like a sister to Jess. but we're getting her a new playmate in about a week: an 11-month-old shepherd named Ghira who needs a good home.
Hi everyone this is my first reply. so i have some "special" info in visa. i have been usinf it now as a second OS and let me tell you it is a strong OS. i am along time strong firefox user and the IE on this OS is great!!!, but im sure Vista Firefox will be better. as for not being able to rip movies/music yuo can thats all i can say. also halo for pc will be on vista!!! the interface of vista in 10X nicer than Xp and customizable... also some of the other App it does are really nice i can't say much more but let me tell you it is worth it.!.!
Except mate that you don't realise how much spyware is on your PC. I'd boot into XP and scan that partition thoroughly, I know a few people who have had their PCs wrecked by using an early version of Vista due to it being as secure as a sieve. I reckon that Halo 2 will only ever come out on Vista because a) that makes M$ more money and b) it'll probably be 64-bit.
