    @ solargame

I've heard of the new Charger but I'm kind of iffy on it. To me it looks like a 300C with a few cosmetic changes. I really like the 300C especially in it's SRT8 version - 425 HP from a 6.1 liter Hemi. And, yes all the movies are mine :)

    @ ashroy01

As for the Hemi designation it doesn't mean crap nowadays, it's just a marketing term since engine technology has come a long ways since the original Hemi. Back in the late 50's early 60's Dodge was looking for a way to increase power without increasing compression (which would require a higher octane fuel for best performance) so they settled on using a hemishperical cylinder head and the Hemi was born. Back in the day the 426 Hemi was almost unbeatable.

I agree with you about the big 20+ inch pimp wheels. They weigh a freaking ton and all that does is suck up horsepower to start turning them and wear out brakes like you wouldn't believe because that's all unsprung weight that needs to be stopped.

Lol, I made above post like 45 minutes ago then wandered off doing God knows what and just now came back to my PC to find I hadn't hit reply :p

You're spot on about the Hemi's Ted, they aren't what they used to be. These newer motors just don't shake your guts (literally) like the old classics did.

    @ haymarket

boring? I bought my wife a 5 series and it's a nice car. Very comfortable, and very popular, and very reliable.

As for your other post about Brits and Yanks and english... I find it interesting just how many variations there actually are. And it's not just in slang like fag or fanny... it's also in how common words are spelled eg: advertise or advertize; customise or customize...

ale or beer - juzt kiddingk on that one :)

@ Nephilim - IMHO spinners should be outlawed; they are dangerous. I heard of folk getting their fingers cut off (stupid people I agree, but nonetheless (except for their missing fingers)) by sticking their fingers in to see if the spinner would stop spinning.

Ah ha but that's where your wrong

Ale and Beer are different - not the same at all.

We have 3 drinks Lager - that muck full of chemicals, beer - which has been pasturised put in a barrel and filled with fizzy gas - yuck and Ale - or Real Ale, which is a live beer, drawn out of the barrel by a hand pump.

Back on the subject - saying in US speak "That cars full of spunk", in the UK means that the Saturday night on the back seat with the girlfriend was messy!

    LOL

Hey regor the twins stay nice and clean because I wear my man-bra at work, although I do let them out for a little air every now and again. Boy do the other guys at the shop squeal in horror when I do! :)

Beer is either lager or ale, I'm pretty sure. And it's acceptable to call beer "ale" even though it isn't - but that could cause confusion. Ale's yeast ferment on top of vat, lager on bottom. Ales brewed/served @ higher temp. Ale's are the light-colored varieties ie rolling rock, I think. If it's ale it probably says it on the label, if not, it's most likely a lager. Lager is the majority of the beer section, brownish-yellow beer. bud, michelob, miller, all their light counterparts and many more.

I drive a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer GLI. Didn't have a pic of my own car handy, so I scammed this one from some site.

This is my Ford Maverick 2.7 Turbo Diesel.

It has seven seats so there would be plenty of room if I had any friends.
Or if you fold down the rear seats there is plenty of room for Nephilims arsenal of weapons.
Four wheel drive for chasing spammers across fields.
Plenty of weight for crushing ipods.
