The sad part is, I wish i could argue that you're wrong, but you aren't. All and all a lot of these asian cars are better the domestic vehicles. But I still love a good ol' fashioned muscle car. And thats why i choose the Viper over the Ford GT. It just reminds me of the old Hemi monsters of yester year. At an outrageously bloated price.
@clouser I'm in the U.K. Although it has a Ford badge on it it's entirely made by Nissan. The engine is the same as the one thats in 99% of the black London taxi's. So its very reliable.
Everyone loves a muscle car, great in a straight line, but dont try and take it round a corner lol. Don't be forgetting the German made cars, and the italian made cars, they're pretty nifty too
thats interesting, agent-k's maverick is a deisel. is the price for deisel expensive in the U.K.(im in the U.S)
I drive either a VW Beetle (2003, Turbo S) or a 2003 Toyota Tundra, it depends on my grades @ school. But, I want this: Its a special edition WRX, fully custom and street legal I don't know the 0-60 but, its got 365 HP and had a 9.75 quarter mile on the track. Price: $40,000-60,000 (each dealership gave me a different quote.)
@solargame - diesel is a tad more expensive in UK than unleaded. (sorry i don't know how to reduce the actual size of the piccy, someone pls let me know how ro do it) - Out of all the cars i've had there can be only one i could want again - my old '92 BMW 535i Sport, totally original apart from massive deep-dish BMW copy wheels with a profile lower than a pencil eraser. I couldn't afford to run it anymore when i was made redundant some years ago, so sold it to my dad, who still has it. I'd love to have it back off him but still couldn't afford to run it - 3.5litre, 208bhp, 143mph, i think i made 135 or 140 once (i was on my own, no-one else in car on a completely empty stretch of road where you could see for miles) just for scary value; over a quarter of million miles on the clock and still as solid as when it was new -
@solargame Diesel fuel is about 90 pence a litre (liter in U.S.) Unleaded fuel is about 89 pence a litre so there's not really much difference. It's all expensive. A good few years ago the British government wanted to encourage drivers to use diesel cars because its less damaging to the environment. So they kept the price of diesel fuel low to entice everyone. Then when diesel engines became really popular they whacked the price of the fuel up. Bit of a shitty move but we all fell for it.
I currently drive a 2000 Monte Carlo, happy with what I got to be honest. My dream car would be a convertible Lamborghini Gallardo looks like this:
Sorry for the pic being so big,but had to reformat not that long ago and lost all my apps to work with.I know what you are saying Oriphus, but hey it could happen right hahaha lol.
I currently drive a 1993 Mercedes 300E and it's been with me since 1995. The car is still running strong at 200,000 miles but I would love to buy a newer Mercedes like the E320 with lower mileage. The inline 6 engine is very easy to work on and i've grow quite comfortable with it over the years, plus it's paid for(LOL)...if it ain't broke don't fix it, if it is broke don't take it to the Merceds dealership!!!LOL Fix it yourself...Later Guys
I have a 1 and 1,000,000 chance of getting it,but never know man one of these days luck might come along.
my partner has just bought a fiesta 1.6si (1995) and its gorjus and quicker than my poor old Peugeot 1.9 turbo diesel ... a similar pic here ; at least these models had the better looks of the older models but with smart bumpers/fog lights, unlike the foul retro look of the next models. Funny how they then changed the look again shortly after as the retro models were evil looking (ie crap)
