I think this will answer for me: http://community.webshots.com/user/thekissguy "I don't need no stinking turbo"...factory dynoed 380ish at the crank, and was still running rich. The car that is, not the big old Truck. I named my Dodge 4x4 "Bubba" because he's big, white and slow... I were to get into heavy mods on the Hawk, head and cam kit would be first. then a supercharger. But they only made 540 of these in 2001, so I don't mod too much, just stuff I can easily switch back.
One more for the truck side. I drive a Silver Ice 2002 Nissan Frontier, KC, V-6, 4x4, automatic. On rare occasions, I get to drive a 1998 Lexus ES300 (my wife's car). I get to drive it to put in gas!
i currently have a 1996 Acura NSX targa top, am trying to sell it, but, so far nobody has reached my min. price~ it's got low mileage and i keep it in emmaculate condition~ got to save up for that ferrari i've had my eye on...
@Kivory, thats a CLASS car, i cant believe yr selling it, its a beauty.. Ive just brought a 1995 Toyota Estima Lucida 8-seater MPV about 3 weeks ago, Japanese import (dont have a pic to post yet).. ideal for ferrying the kids about. loads of room. But if me & mrs bigpantz had no kids, id get one like Kivory's..
hi neph, it still has low mileage... approx~ 44,600 1996 model, i have more pics of interior too if you interested~ i think i take pretty good pics for the ads i put out on recycler and penny saver and the newspaper as well, but, im just very new at posting pictures up on afterdawn, haven't gotten it down yet.
@bigpantz i was REALLY into the import racing scene a few years back, was so proud of my turbocharged acura integra, spent all my paychecks and time building it up and racing at Battle of the Imports, pushing about 350hp on a 4-banger~ 1/4 mile times low 12s on street tires~ but, since then i've grown up a bit and just left the modding to others and just wanted a nice car straight from the factory. i have just always really liked the lines and the style of the NSX, so, before me and my wife have kids, i need to sell it~
LOL neph, perhaps that would be the start of some bargaining for the nsx~ we might have a deal there~ hehee, u gotta admit, for a 96' i still have pretty low mileage on there..less than 50k now~
That is indeed very low mileage. I just turned 68,000 on my beloved '96 Dakota so I'm not doing too bad myself Rest assured that if I had the sort of money it'd take I'd be on my way to L.A. to start negotiations with you (I'm still drooling over it ).
