What kind of drive is this?

    jmbowman, You have a DVD re-writer drive, it looks as if it has it's own power port and also a USB port which suggests to me that it is a stand-alone drive for use in an external application. If it has a model number try googling it or look on ebay for a similar item for a value. Hope this helps.

    Plug it in, see if your machine recognizes it, then let Windows tell you the make and model# it is!

    this is a CD DVD RW DL Drive,look the back of CD DVD Drive u can see the model!
