I have been deciding from 2 motherboards one from DFI and one from Foxconn, one is a X38A motherboard and the other is a X48 and I have been deciding for about 3 weeks now so I need to make a decision soon. From what I herd Foxconn's RMA service is horrible but I haven't herd anything bad from DFI, So what should I choose the X38A from foxconn: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186134&Tpk=X38A

Or the X48 from DFI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136054

IMHO, that's really a sammorris question and i don't think he frequents this forum. You might try posting over on the building a PC forum.

DFI and Foxconn wouldn't be on my short list, and you haven't really provided compelling reasins why you've narrowed it down to these two.

Why should you care about RMA support unless you think that the product is so crappy that it is going to break??? If that's your line of thinking why would you even consider the manufacturer?

DFI has been around a long time. Foxconn is a relative newcomer.

If you put a gun to my head and only gave me these two choices I would go with DFI.

I've also heard DFI RMAs are very bad as well.
Just get an Asus or Gigabyte board, and make sure the retailer is good for returns, as it is them you'll be dealing with to start with.
