You can only be helped if you provide sufficient information - what you have provided to date is very uninformative.

    1. What is the format of the files you have downloaded - AVI, Bin, VOB etc?
    2. What are your encoding, compressing, burning processes?
    3. What programs other than those mentioned are you using to convert/transcode?

This came through as I was typing - it would appear that you have a corrupt download.

Sorry, for not being specific, the format downloaded was in Video Ts---dvd vobs, info and bup.
I am not familiar of encoding it, please tell me how if that is wat i need to do.
With the original video TS, i would only know is to use Dvd Shrink and Nero to burn it.
I encountered this type of problem twice so far and I guess it is because the files are modified and Nero and Dvd shrink do not support modify files...am I correct?
I have used another other programs and hopefully you can tell me wat programs and how to use them. Thank-you for your time!

It is not clear what you mean by "modified" but I'm going to guess that you've downloaded a VIDEO_TS folder that was modified from an original dvd9 to fit on a dvd5. If that's the case, there's no reason to worry that they've been "modified." All that means is that they stripped out some extras, subtitles, or something to make it fit on a dvd5. That's pretty common.

The real question is why can you not successfully burn the VIDEO_TS folder. Like colw surmises, it seems likely that you have a corrupted download.

What format were the files in that you downloaded? If you downloaded a VIDEO_TS folder as such (i.e. it wasn't rar'd into multiple parts) then it is all the more likely you have a corrupted download.

    Are you getting this p2p?

The file i downloaded was a torrent file and i didn't have to extract the file with winrar and it came as a video_ts file, but with another movie i downloaded ppl were able to download it successfully and it also came as a video_ts without needing to be extract either. But they told me that another program would need to be used to burn the movie because the files were modified
