I purchased a new receiver today. I was hopping for help as to what type of speakers to buy for it. Here is the manual in PDF format. http://www.sherwoodusa.com/pdf/RD-6106.pdf It has a direct 6 channel input, a place for the speakers but not the amp to be hooked up with speaker wire, and a pre-out jack for the sub woofer. I think this means I can hook up the sub woofer through the 6 channel input or the pre-out jack. The speakers are rated for 8 Ohms. I am not sure what to do about wattage, I know very little about that. Could anyone inform as to what type of speakers and sub woofer I need?
I bought some fairly cheap speakers and now am looking for a sub woofer. Do I have anything to consider as far as connecting the sub to either the pre out jack or the six channel?
