neewbie, Chapelle's Show first season is on DVD. I have it. It's also not censored like it is on Comedy Central. I sure hope there will be a second season DVD. He is funny.

forkndave, I just read where he has signed a 50 million dollar contract to be on C.C. for the next 3 years. Ptretty good income for a cable channel, huh?

PS-I think the guy's a riot, especially blind racist Clayton Bigsby and crackhead Tyrone Biggums. LOL

Yeah, I just about had a stroke when I saw Clayton Bigsby the first time. It must really be hard to do that with a straight face. The "Front Line" moderator really does a good job.

That's amazing! They must've costed like hundreds! I only started Spawn 2 years ago, and I have all comic from 40+ (the ones before that were too hard to find)

Nephilim, do you ever use comic scans? So you can read them on the computer.... :D

P.S. I'm looking for the Angela series, any recommendations for places to hunt for? I'm not really trusting eBay for a couple of comics. I've almost completed all the other mini series e.g. Hellspawn, Sam & Twitch, Cy-Gor, etc. The ones I don't have in issues I have in comic scans =P

That would have to be only fools and horses for me.They can repeat the series over and over and in the UK for me as it's a classic.Del boy is a star and should be given his own star where all the other stars go on the pavement of what ever they do in the US.

The Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes would be great on DVD...

    Did they finally release them?

Last time I checked, all I could find were transfers, not a full fledged DVD release.

Nope. I bought them for cover price when they first came out. That was shortly before I got out of comics for a while so I'm not familiar with the Angela series.

Knowing you from your posts I've got a good feeling that you would love a series called "Johnny The Homicidal Maniac". Those were the most brutally funny comics I've ever read and among the most prized comics in my collection. I believe they're available in a trade paperback now along with the "Squee" series. If you've ever watched the cartoon "Invader Zim" you already know the artist/writer: Jhonen Vasquez. Just picture Invader Zim style but with loads of graphic violence and even more sick and twisted humor :)

I believe they were put out by Slave Labor comics, the same ones that put out another all time favorite: "Milk and Cheese" by Evan Dorkin.

I've heard of Invader Zim, but never seen it. I'll try out some of your suggestions! Thanks for the suggestions :)

I'm just guessing at what you mean by this, since anything that wasn't shot in a digital format is a transfer. My guess is that you mean a transfer from video tape instead of film, and the answer to that would be that I don't think so. I have several of them (most of the first series to be precise), but I haven't backed them up yet so I haven't examined them closely enough to say for sure, but I think they're film transfers. I can say that the quality is horrible, so if you're looking for high quality you probably don't want any of what's been released so far. I won't complain for the price I paid (I buy almost all my discs used), but I certainly wouldn't pay full retail for anything done this poorly.

Others have mentioned it... but I would love Airwolf...and I do believe I remember hearing rumors about it being in the works.

I also would love the whole set of a few cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Heathcliff, and Woody Woodpecker. All I can find of those are a few selected compilations, and no actual seasons.

thought of another one..... the reality show called paradise hotel. I would love to see some of the behind the scenes that didn't make it on the show.
