    Hello,
I recently found a lamp with a strange socket for a light bulb. It's not an E17 or E15 type socket. I'd really would like to put a bulb in it. If anyone here knows please let me know, thanx.

It looks like the contacts have a hinge. Don't know if they need to be flipped up to put a light bulb into it. What's the diameter of the screw threads?

It's either an E14 or E15 socket but when I try to insert the bulb it's either too big or too small.

As I asked, what is the diameter of the screw threads? You can do a quick and dirty check but use a rule that is in mm.

Is it possible that part of the bulb mount is missing because I don't see any way a bulb can be mounted? It does kind of resemble this.

Is there anything written on the bottom or back of the lamp, be it letters or numbers? Also what does the rest of the lamp look like?

    Since it's 15 mm, it should be a E15. However, I'm unable to find a E15 bulb. A E14 might work.

Do you by any chance have an image of the entire lamp?
