Hi, I need to buy a new PC on the cheap, and was wondering whats a decent 3-d card right now that isn't $400 I need to buy a PC around $1000 and under. Also you guys know any good sites to buy one? is ibuypower.com pretty good? they seem a little sketchy.

    The 6800GS from eVGA.

You can get it from Newegg.com for about $230.00, or straight from eVGA for $249.00.

I buy all our stuff from Newegg...if I have too, ComputerGeeks...once in a blue moon, TigerDirect...but that's only because I trust these people to be reliable.

What's your budget for the card itself, and what do you want it to do? Also, do you need an AGP card or PCI-Express?
