    I saw the thread about how much posts it takes to be a Junior Member, Member, Senior Member... but it wasn't written about Staff Member. Is that something new? Does it go by an amount of posts?

    a staff member is a paid employee of the site. seniors & down are by posts whereas mods are posts & attitude

    ddp, you mean Addict and down :)

    And btfan, when aD are looking for new Staff Members to do with AfterDawn (the site), they advertise it on here and you can apply online. However, a new member (DVDBack23) was hired recently so I doubt any new ones will be needed soon unless someone decides to quit.

    Generally, staffers here writes news - that's about the size of it.

    forgot about addicts when you consider i was 1. staff members are just not writers but are other postions too.

    As Ripper stated when a position is available it will be advertised...typically on the "home" page. Check it periodically for your best chances of getting your name in the hat.

    We -- most likely -- don't have openings for new staff member roles until 2008 at earliest, as the current setup we have is working pretty well. But as always, when we do have open positions, we'll announce them in our news section and forums.

    come to think of it, jannejt told me he was never an addict, but went from senior to mod - how about that!

    I think it was more a case of his eloquent directives, such as RTFMDA that got him promoted. :D

    I don't think I've ever been in trouble here that I can remember, of course I don't know what is said behind closed doors...I could be on my way out right now and not know it. ;)
