I personally like seagate barracuda. Its a very good drive. I got a older one...(5 yrs old) 80 gig and it still runs fine. Also samsung seems alright and has a great rma dept. I just sent one from a neighbors comp and they never asked for a reciept or nothing. They just checked date of manufacture and replaced it without testing it. great rma dept if you ask me.

i would go with a seagate drive. my dad had 3 WD drives, all failed. i have an old ibm 20gb hard drive from my gateway (back when the p3 1000 was top of the line) it's still running great with no problems what so ever. but deffinetly would go with a seagate.
