What's the best vcd program out there....

    Hi again,

    I'm looking for a way to take video from my HDD and copy them to my CDR/RW burner as VCDs. Is this even possible?

    It's possible with many different software programs, but the quality will be crap, when compared to a video DVD.

    well, it's all i got going for me at the time....i'm just interested in starting on something....I have a few AVIs of my son from his visit last summer and they're just sitting in a huge file on my HDD.

    Thanks for the reply (i serverd as a medic in the Canadian Army - didn't see an active theatre - got injured my fourth year in and got out - a year later my unit; 2nd Field Ambulance form CFB Petawawa, Ont; went to the Gulf)

    So what programs are good an absolute no-knowledge-base-neophyte?
