Whats up with smitfraud

I noticed version .441 shows a couple of host file entries it wants to delete. These 2 are part of the spybot default hostfile list. Why would smitfraud be saying it wants to remove these entries? The whole idea of host files is to keep things out but in their last two version change lists they are playing with host files which does not make any sense to me. Host files are protection from past, or present known problem sites and I don't understand why it would be trying to play with them. Im more then able to edit my list anytime I feel like it. Did somebody jump into bed with somebody else to clear these entries.
